An event such as play 24 is amazing not just for wheelchair basketball, but all disabled sport. It really shows that we are athletes just as fit if not more fit then all others. My hopes are this event raises enough awareness for people with challenges that if they are not involved in wheelchair sport, they can be. For those who are not challenged, they will see just what amazing athletes we have and will want to help, whether it be donate or be involved every little bit helps.
