Mark December 3 on your calendar to celebrate the 2010 International Day of People with Disabilities

The City of Toronto, its community and business partners invite you to contribute to the event
    * nominate local unsung heroes
    * submit your poems to the Invitation to Poetry
    * display your artwork at the Invitation to Art

The deadline for unsung heroes nominations, poetry and art submissions is Thursday, September 30, 2010.

The event takes place on Friday, December 3, 2010

Each year, the Mayor of Toronto proclaims the day in accordance with the United Nations' International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The United Nations' annual observance is based on the goal of full and equal enjoyment of human rights and participation in society by persons with disabilities.
