About SkiAbility
Are you "ski-able"? Absolutely. Everyone is "ski-able." Thanks to extensive work done by a number of key individuals, water ski equipment and training is available for people of all abilities. Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC) officially launched SkiAbility in June 2005. The program focuses on increasing participation in water skiing and other towed water sports for persons with a disability.
Event Information
The 2010 SkiAbility Leadership Camp is an opportunity for people with disabilities to try water skiing for the first time. Qualified SkiAbility instructors will provide participants with all of the necessary training and equipment to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
In addition to the on-water fun, participants will have the opportunity to listen to a TrueSport presentation by animator Ashley Lethbridge (www.truesportpur.ca/).
The camp will also feature Canadian Paralympian Sledge Hockey player Graeme Murray, who will share his experiences in sport.
Cost
The cost of registration for the camp is $250, which includes:
· Accommodation: Hotel room will be provided for participant and one parent, guardian or attendant.
· Gas Mileage: Participants will be reimbursed for travel to and from Gravenhurst.
· Meals: Saturday (dinner) and Sunday (breakfast) are included.
· Water Skiing: Instructor and equipment will be provided.

Registration
WSWC will accept registration online at http://www.karelo.com/enter_res.php?&BID=283#Ev9622. Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a cap of 15 participants.
