The City of Brantford and the County of Brant to Host the 2017 Ontario ParaSport Games

 

Sport Alliance Ontario in partnership with ParaSport Ontario is very pleased to announce that the City of Brantford and the County of Brant have been selected as the official host for the 2017 Ontario ParaSport Games, taking place on February 10-12, 2017. 

 

This will mark the first time Brantford and the County of Brant will host the Ontario ParaSport Games.  After a recent change in structure to the Ontario ParaSport Games, it is exciting to be reintroducing the winter program again in 2017.

These Games will provide an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their sport and recreation facilities to visitors, leave behind a legacy of accessible infrastructure for the community, and support the local economy. We are committed to providing opportunities for development of Ontario’s para-athletes, and these Games are an important way for us to do that.” Michael Coteau, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport and Minister Responsible for the Pan/Parapan American Games.
