National Capital Wheelchair Tennis Association
Wheelchair tennis in the Ottawa region is guided by the National Capital Wheelchair Tennis Association (NCWTA) dedicated to promoting and providing competitive and community-based wheelchair tennis activities for persons with a physical disability. The NCWTA is a volunteer-based body administered by an elected board of directors.
ParaSport Ontario, Ontario Sledge Hockey Association and The City of Newmarket have partnered in the development of the Newmarket Shredders Sledge Hockey team based out to the accessible Magna Recreation Centre. The program includes practice evenings as well as pick-up ice-time as well and is open to players of all ages and abilities and equipment is provided.
SD Lambton (Sports for the Disabled) brings sports to individuals with a disability in Lambton County. This sports club works closely with provincial and sport organizations to bring opportunities to its athletes. Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace and a positive enjoyable experience is emphasized. Sports for disabled gives the opportunity to compete in sports for physical well being, socialization, socializing or at provincial, national or international levels.

Formed in 1986, SBAN is a non-profit organization benefiting people with physical disabilities in the Niagara region. The goal of SBAN is to provide people of all ages and abilities the chance to participate in the sport of their choice. Members are encouraged to participate in SBAn sports and recreation programs, as well as attend various track and field events throughout the year.
The Toronto Tornadoes currently offers wheelchair basketball for players of all levels and ages. The Tornadoes have both a junior and senior program for athletes. The club hopes to expand to officially offer CP soccer and athletics in the near future/
Walden Cross Country Fitness Club ParaNordic Ski Program
The Walden ParaNordic Ski Program is one of the most recent programs to be a part of ParaSport Ontario’s Community Sport Development Program. With the support of Cross Country Ontario’s ParaNordic program the club program offers expert training, equipment and skiing opportunities for athletes of all abilities and offers training throughout the summer season.
