Andrew Tucker

Andrew Tucker

Andrew Tucker is a sitting volleyball player for the Team Canada. In 2012 Andrew lost his right leg from the knee down. Through his positive attitude Andrew has pushed himself to represent Canada at the recent Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games, where the team won bronze on home soil. Andrew’s goal is to motivate and inspire people who are going through the same thing he did, saying “I want people to know that it’s never the end. In the moment, you may feel that you’ll never be who you were … but in reality, that’s the furthest from the truth. In due time, you will come to realize that if you apply yourself and get the help you need, you can be the same, or an even better person than you used to be.”
