Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA)
Helping Ontarians explore, enjoy and embrace the sport of volleyball at all levels.
Learn, grow and get involved! – “Volleyball for Life”
The OVA is an athlete-centred association where dedicated volunteers and professional staff provide leadership in the growth and development of volleyball for all Ontarians.
Volleyball is a fun, non-contact sport that develops not only an individual’s physical skill set but also positively contributes to cognitive and psychological development, teaching skills including problem solving, team work, and communication.
In Ontario and across Canada the sport of volleyball is growing in popularity at all levels from elementary school to recreational leagues and from club teams to high performance training and competition. Volleyball is truly a sport for all ages and abilities, including sitting volleyball for athletes with a disability and able bodied individuals alike.
Volleyball is a great sport to participate in to contribute to an active, healthy lifestyle throughout one’s life. The OVA is proud to promote “Volleyball for Life”.
