Powerchair Hockey He shoots! He scores!! If you like hockey, and use an electric wheelchair, the sport of Power Electric Wheelchair Hockey can get you in the game.

It’s hockey played on a gym floor instead of ice and uses a plastic ball instead of a puck. Players with limited range of movement are allowed to tape the plastic stick to their wheelchair. You can join a competitive team or learn to play just for recreation and fun.

You have many great options in Ontario and across Canada to get involved in Powerchair Hockey. Check out the Canadian Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association with leagues in Toronto, London and Ottawa or the Toronto Power Wheelchair Hockey League which is a member of PowerHockey Canada.
