Ontarians at the World Para Athletics Championships

The London 2017 World Para Athletics Championships are officially over and what a Championships they were.

We saw some great competition from our Ontarian athletes, which included a podium finish.

As such with any competition there were some heart breaking defeats, but in those defeats we saw the truest form of sportsmanship.

The Championships spanned 10 days over July 14-23, and consisted of 210 events.

The final medal count for Canada was 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze
