Vibrant Healthcare Alliance
ParaSport Role: Partners
Born out of the April 2017 merger of the Anne Johnston Community Health Station and Tobias House Attendant Care Inc.
Vibrant Healthcare Alliance was formed out of the commitment to create a dynamic and more client-centric approach to enhancing the quality of life and health outcomes of individuals living in the Greater Toronto Area, particularly vulnerable individuals with complex needs. Leveraging our new capabilities, we are proud of our ability to meet the needs of the community by delivering high-quality innovative health and social care programs that include primary healthcare services, health promotion and prevention programs, attendant care and personal support and community development initiatives.
We acknowledge the land on which ParaSport® Ontario was built is the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today Toronto (also known as Tkaronto) is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
