PowerHockey Canada is a national parasport organization focused on the growth and development of powerhockey nationwide. Our mission is to enable para-athletes of all abilities who use a power wheelchair to participate in the sport of powerhockey by developing and supporting leagues from the local recreational level up to and including a high-performance national program. For those not familiar, powerhockey is a distinctly inclusive parasport in the Canadian sport landscape. It provides individuals with physical disabilities who use a power wheelchair the opportunity to participate and compete.

Are you a powerchair user? Do you love hockey? I’m Meghan! I would love to chat with you about powerhockey, a sport that has provided me with so many opportunities and enables powerchair users of all abilities to play Canada’s game. Looking forward to hearing from you.
We acknowledge the land on which ParaSport® Ontario was built is the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today Toronto (also known as Tkaronto) is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
